Eastleigh open tournament with Truro win

Eastleigh 2 Truro City 1

Report by Kevin Dixon

The Spitfires' opening game of the Joma South West Challenge saw Eastleigh recover from going a goal down in the first two minutes to record a victory.

Goals came from Jamie Slabber (penalty) and Staforde Palmer in the second half to see Ian Baird's side home.

The game proved to be another very useful workout against a side who have high hopes of getting into the Conference South.
